About the Event
In this workshop you will get to know the basics of Ayurveda: What is Ayurveda and what is its origin? You will learn about the 5 elements and how these make up the three Doshas. You will learn what your unique Dosha constitution is (the prakruti) and we will learn what to do when your dosha is out of balance. The impacts of certain ayurvedic foods on the doshas will be discussed and you will taste the most common ayurvedic herbs during this workshop. We will finish the workshop with a Yoga and meditation routine to balance the Doshas.
